projections of only 9' - 10' from house.
  • Vulnerable to wind and rain damage.
  • Roof heights, door & window obstruc-
tions limit use because of awning pitch
    requirements. (Pitch creates a
    claustophobic feeling and heat-build-up)
  • Limited selection of fabrics colors.
ShadeTree® can shade very LARGE areas!

Other systems: Provide limited span from the house - often a maximum of only 9' to 10' of shade. Much of the deck or patio remains exposed to the sun. Additionally, because of the pitch of the awning, head room is limited at the outer edge, creating a somewhat crowded feeling under the awning.

ShadeTree® Canopies: ShadeTree® Canopy Systems can project up to 21' from the house. Width is unlimited because canopies are simply added side-by-side onto double-sided tracks to achieve desired width. The entire deck or patio can be shaded, no matter how large. The horizontal canopies can be installed as high as desired, thus giving a comfortable, open feeling under them.

ShadeTree® is the "champion" when it comes to standing up to wind storms!

Other systems: Must be retracted during heavy rain or windy weather. Many brands suggest that you buy an expensive "wind and rain sensor" so the canopy will close automatically if it becomes windy. Serious damage can occur if these retractable awnings are left extended during windy weather.

ShadeTree® Canopies: ShadeTree canopies have a patented wind-release system that allows the canopies to snap loose and move freely in the tracks so they will not catch and hold wind. Many customers marvel at the performance of ShadeTree Canopies in heavy wind conditions.
