Do you come out to the house for an estimate or inspection?

We provide shade nationwide and internationally from our home office in Ohio. We can give you an estimate over the phone with rough dimensions of the area you are looking to shade. We have a network of installers who are available to take exact measurements of your space before finalizing your custom design.

What is the lead time?

The lead time varies pending the season. Ask your design consultant for more details.

Do you have a show room in the area?

We have a showroom in Columbus, Ohio. We do have a number of commercial applications nationwide. Ask a design consultant if there is one local to your area to see.

Do you have shade sails?

We do not offer shade sails. Our retractable canopies are integrated into a structure and are designed to retract to reduce the possibility of wind damage.

Do you build decks?

We do not build decks, but we can add an aluminum, vinyl, or fiberglass structure to your existing deck to provide you shade.

Are your canopies motorized?

The ShadeTree canopy system is not motorized; therefore you do not need power/electricity to operate the system. However, we do offer motorized systems. Ask your designer for more details.

Do you have a dealer or contractor in my area?

We have a network of Shadetree installers nationwide. They are available for measurements and installations. Ask a design consultant to set up your local free measure.

How do the canopies retract?

The “U” end of the sky hook slides onto the end of the handle drop of the canopy which allows you to unlock and easily pull the canopies open and close. The canopies have rollers on the sides that flow along a track system.

What is the drop of the handle?

The handle (the drop at the end of the canopy) can be anywhere from 6” to 18” long. Please ask your design consultant on pros and cons on different lengths.

Is the system waterproof?

The ShadeTree system uses fabric that is designed to be rain resistant. If waterproof is a requirement, we do have other systems that offer that solution.

How custom are your systems?

Each of our systems are completely custom. Speak to a design consultant to help design a structure specific to your unique area, esthetic, and needs.

Maximum sizes of your systems?

There is not a maximum size for our shade systems due to their modular design. Each system design is completely custom; speak to a designer consultant to discuss your unique project in detail.

What is the maximum width/drop for blinds

Our dropdown manual blinds are custom. The max width is 10’ for mesh fabric and 6’ for solid fabric. The max drop is 7’ or 84”. We do have motorized options with alternate sizing, speak to a design consultant for more details.
