The Mechanics

Our unique patented system allows you to change from sun to shade in seconds. The canopies funcion using an integrated track. The canopy sections ride on crossmembers that contain rollers and glide smoothly along the track, providing instant shade. When fully extended, each canopy is held in place by a retractable mechanism. Our patented top locks are equipped to automatically unlock in high winds, releasing the canopies and reducing any potential wind damage.

Our fabrics are fashionable and marine-grade, durable for all weather and any aesthetic. Choose from hundreds of fabrics, from two popular mills, our canopies commonly last 13+ years. Then, when it is time to replace your canopies, the process is simple! Just select a new fabric, and we can do the rest.

With our double sided track, this allows the canopies to be linked together with one canopy on either side of the track. Additional canopies can be added to shade the desired space.
Each canopy is a maximum width of 5 feet and projects up to 24 feet. Even longer projections are possible by adding additional support structures. The canopies can be removed easily in the winter months to prolong the lifespan of your canopies.

Then when it is time to replace your canopies, the process is as simple as selecting your new fabric and we can do the rest.

The Process

Our process is simple. It is as easy as 1... 2... 5.

1. Call Our Design Consultants are shade experts with many shade solutions under their belt.

2. Email Images Pictures speak a thousand words, and your images are helpful. Your photos will provide insight so that your designer may suggest the best shade solution for your space.

3. Exact measurements Your designer will connect you with a local ShadeTree installer who will do a site survey and take exact measurements of your space. Call your design consultant to schedule your measurement.

4. CAD Drawing Using your exact measurements, our team will create a CAD drawing of your custom design for you to review and approve.

5. Pick Colors Select your fabric from hundreds of marine-grade colors and patterns that best coordinate with your structure and house.
